What goes on behind the scenes at the Aquarium? How do we care for freshwater species that are sometimes threatened in their natural environment? What are the day-to-day challenges involved in maintaining, caring for and conserving them? The Aquarium-Muséum offers you an exceptional behind-the-scenes tour, dedicated to tropical and temperate freshwater species and the challenges of their preservation.
Guided by Arianna, Aquariology Manager, gain access to areas usually closed to the public and discover what goes on behind the scenes. You'll plunge into the heart of the work carried out every day to ensure the well-being of the animals, maintain balanced ecosystems and contribute, in our own small way, to the conservation of fragile species.
During the tour, Arianna will explain how the tanks are maintained, how the technical installations work, what specific care and feeding these species require, and why some of them are now threatened.
The program includes
- Discover the technical areas and workings of the freshwater basins
- Observation of care and feeding protocols
- Focus on endangered species and conservation issues in tropical and temperate freshwater
- Time for discussion and questions and answers
Limited seating (group of 12 people per event) :reservation essential.
