By making a donation, you directly support our NPO and the projects we choose to defend. Conservation, innovation or local action: every donation has a concrete impact.

Why make a donation?

Every day, the Aquarium-Muséum Universitaire de Liège is committed to :

• preserving life,
• the transmission of knowledge,
• andinnovation respectful of the aquatic world.

Your donation contributes to the funds of our ASBL. It does not finance any salary, but directly supports our projects, for a reactive, targeted and free action.

You choose what you support

You can :

• Support our ASBLas a whole : your donations are allocated according to priorities.
• Target a specific project, including
  • the reintroduction of the green tree frog in Wallonia,
  • the installation of nesting boxes for owls,
  • helping seals in distress,
  • sustainable filtration systems,
  • educational programs,
  • or the preservation of our Collections.
  • And other conservation, scientific research and awareness-raising initiatives.

Every euro is invested exclusively in concrete conservation, research and awareness-raising initiatives .

What's in it for you?

Our ASBL is approved by the SPF Finances:

Your donations entitle you to a 45% tax reduction (for all donations ≥ €40).

You will automatically receive a tax certificate for your tax return.

Example: a donation of €100 really only costs you €55 after tax deduction.

To receive your certificate, remember to include your contact details (in the transfer communication or by e-mail).

What about companies?

Companies can deduct up to 5% of their taxable profits (up to a maximum of €500,000) through corporate philanthropy.
The tax advantage consists of a reduction in taxable profits.

A donation, however modest, is a powerful act.
